This small circular route begins near the artificial lakes of Altares, in the upstream area of the parish. 

Regarding its landscape, this route offers a constant variety of settings/scenery, crossing paths of Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), high-altitude natural pastures, forests and natural vegetation. The viewpoint located at the highest point of the route, at approximately 650 meters above sea level, provides a panoramic view of the northern part of the island, with particular emphasis on the Picos Vermelhos and the Narião massif.

This circular route (round trip) takes place in the Nasce Água area, on the surroundings of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. As the name suggests, this route has a strong connection to water resources and the hydraulic heritage, such as the old mills and the water supply system that supply the city of Angra.

This small circular route begins next to the Ribeirinha Ethnographic Center, which includes a cultural heritage linked to the customs and traditions of the parish and develops, mostly, along the Serra da Ribeirinha, which constitutes the southwestern slope of the Cinco Picos volcano, including the largest volcanic caldera in the Azores - Caldeira dos Cinco Picos.

This small linear route connects Rocha do Chambre, located in the inner part of the island, to the popular swimming area of Biscoitos, during 14,2 km.

This short circular route takes place in a public sector of a Protected Area for the Management of Habitats or Species of the Central Plateau and Northwest Coast, where several environmental and landscape recovery actions are occurring. It connects two Natural Monuments – Algar do Carvão and Furnas do Enxofre.

Cette petite route circulaire, complètement située dans le géosite et aire protégée de ressources naturelles gérée de Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz, est caractérisée par des forêts macaronésiques et des tourbières qui assurent la recharge des aquifères de ce complexe volcanique avec environ 23 mille ans d'existence.

Située dans le massif volcanique des Cinco Picos, cette petite route traverse la côte Sud-Est de l’île et passe par les vestiges d’anciennes fortifications de défense maritimes (XVIème – XVII ème siècle) qui s’arrêtent au bourg de São Sebastião.

Partir de la route régionale vers Ponta das Contendas. Circuler du côté droit avec vue sur le phare des Contendas et l’îlot (Ilhéu das Cabras) au fond. De l’autre côté, passer par les Fortes da Greta et de Santa Catarina das Mós (tous deux datant de 1581) avec une vue sur la baie (baía da Mina), lieu privilégié pour faire du surf.

Ce parcours débute au lieu-dit Malha Grande, dans la partie haute de la commune de Biscoitos, à côté de la route régionale.

Commencez par monter le chemin de graviers bordé d’espèces de la flore endémique, telles que le laurier (Laurus azorica), la bruyère (Erica azorica), la faia (Morella faya) et le genévrier (Juniperus brevifolia). En arrivant à l’embranchement, prenez à gauche, dans un chemin pavé qui vous mènera à un cours d’eau, à travers un bosquet de cryptomerias.
