This short circular route begins and ends at the mill on Rua do Saco and offers the visitor a unique insight into two of the most striking elements in the history of the parish of Agualva: the water from its streams — once the driving force behind almost fifty watermills and currently the source of supply for 6 of the 11 parishes in the municipality of Praia da Vitória — and the wood from its forests, which today is a fundamental raw material for local sawmills and carpentry workshops, as it was in the past.

This small circular route begins near the artificial lakes of Altares, in the upstream area of the parish. 

Regarding its landscape, this route offers a constant variety of settings/scenery, crossing paths of Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), high-altitude natural pastures, forests and natural vegetation. The viewpoint located at the highest point of the route, at approximately 650 meters above sea level, provides a panoramic view of the northern part of the island, with particular emphasis on the Picos Vermelhos and the Narião massif.

This circular route (round trip) takes place in the Nasce Água area, on the surroundings of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. As the name suggests, this route has a strong connection to water resources and the hydraulic heritage, such as the old mills and the water supply system that supply the city of Angra.

This small circular route begins next to the Ribeirinha Ethnographic Center, which includes a cultural heritage linked to the customs and traditions of the parish and develops, mostly, along the Serra da Ribeirinha, which constitutes the southwestern slope of the Cinco Picos volcano, including the largest volcanic caldera in the Azores - Caldeira dos Cinco Picos.

This small linear route connects Rocha do Chambre, located in the inner part of the island, to the popular swimming area of Biscoitos, during 14,2 km.

This short circular route takes place in a public sector of a Protected Area for the Management of Habitats or Species of the Central Plateau and Northwest Coast, where several environmental and landscape recovery actions are occurring. It connects two Natural Monuments – Algar do Carvão and Furnas do Enxofre.

Dieser kleine Rundweg führt im gesamten Verlauf durch das Schutzgebiet und die Geosite des Vulkankraters Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz, der mit seinen makaronesischen Wäldern und Torfmooren den Grundwasservorrat dieses etwa 23.000 Jahre alten Vulkankomplexes sichert.

Im Vulkanmassiv des Cinco Picos führt dieser kleine Weg entlang der Südostküste der Insel, vorbei an Resten der alten maritimen Verteidigungsfestungen (16. bis 17. Jahrhundert), und endet im Ortszentrum von São Sebastião.
