This small circular route begins near the artificial lakes of Altares, in the upstream area of the parish. 

Regarding its landscape, this route offers a constant variety of settings/scenery, crossing paths of Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), high-altitude natural pastures, forests and natural vegetation. The viewpoint located at the highest point of the route, at approximately 650 meters above sea level, provides a panoramic view of the northern part of the island, with particular emphasis on the Picos Vermelhos and the Narião massif.

This circular route (round trip) takes place in the Nasce Água area, on the surroundings of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. As the name suggests, this route has a strong connection to water resources and the hydraulic heritage, such as the old mills and the water supply system that supply the city of Angra.

This small circular route begins next to the Ribeirinha Ethnographic Center, which includes a cultural heritage linked to the customs and traditions of the parish and develops, mostly, along the Serra da Ribeirinha, which constitutes the southwestern slope of the Cinco Picos volcano, including the largest volcanic caldera in the Azores - Caldeira dos Cinco Picos.

This small linear route connects Rocha do Chambre, located in the inner part of the island, to the popular swimming area of Biscoitos, during 14,2 km.

This short circular route takes place in a public sector of a Protected Area for the Management of Habitats or Species of the Central Plateau and Northwest Coast, where several environmental and landscape recovery actions are occurring. It connects two Natural Monuments – Algar do Carvão and Furnas do Enxofre.

Esta pequeña ruta circular se encuentra totalmente insertada en el geositio y el área protegida para la gestión de recursos de Caldeira de Guilherme Moniz, caracterizada por los matorrales macaronésicos y las turberas que aseguran la recarga de los acuíferos de este complejo volcánico con cerca de 23 mil años.

Situada en el macizo volcánico de Cinco Picos, esta pequeña ruta viaja por la costa sudeste de la isla, pasando por los vestigios de antiguas fortificaciones de defensa marítima (siglos XVI - XVII) y termina en Vila de São Sebastião.

Inicie el recorrido en la carretera regional por Ponta das Contendas. Circule por la derecha y disfrute de las vistas al faro de Contendas y al islote das Cabras al fondo. Del otro lado, pase por las Fortalezas de Greta y Santa Catarina de Mós (ambas de 1581) con vistas a la bahía de Mina, un lugar privilegiado para la práctica del surf.

El trayecto empieza en Malha Grande, zona alta de la pedanía de Biscoitos, junto a la carretera regional.

Empiece siguiendo el camino de lapilli (pequeñas piedras de origen volcánico), bordeado por especies de la flora endémica como el laurel de las Azores (Laurus azorica), brezo de las Azores (Erica azorica), faya (Morella faya) y cedro de las Azores (Juniperus brevifolia). Al llegar a la bifurcación, continúe por la izquierda, en un camino empedrado que lo llevará a un curso de agua, en un bosque de criptomerias.
