This circular route (round trip) takes place in the Nasce Água area, on the surroundings of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. As the name suggests, this route has a strong connection to water resources and the hydraulic heritage, such as the old mills and the water supply system that supply the city of Angra.

This small circular route begins next to the Ribeirinha Ethnographic Center, which includes a cultural heritage linked to the customs and traditions of the parish and develops, mostly, along the Serra da Ribeirinha, which constitutes the southwestern slope of the Cinco Picos volcano, including the largest volcanic caldera in the Azores - Caldeira dos Cinco Picos.

This small linear route connects Rocha do Chambre, located in the inner part of the island, to the popular swimming area of Biscoitos, during 14,2 km.

This short circular route takes place in a public sector of a Protected Area for the Management of Habitats or Species of the Central Plateau and Northwest Coast, where several environmental and landscape recovery actions are occurring. It connects two Natural Monuments – Algar do Carvão and Furnas do Enxofre.

Questo percorso inizia dalla Canada das Fontes, a Serreta, nella zona ovest di Terceira.

Comincerete salendo per un tratto asfaltato, per 100 metri, girando poi a sinistra, su una strada di terra vulcanica rossastra.

Fatti 400 metri, girerete a sinistra, prendendo un sentiero fiancheggiato dalle criptomerie (Cryptomeria japonica), che più avanti si restringerà a causa dell’abbondante vegetazione di pitosfori e Juniperus brevifolia.

This small circular route is mostly integrated in the forest area of ​​Biscoito das Fontinhas, classified as a protected area for the management of habitats or species.

Il percorso ha inizio accanto al parco detto Parque do Relvão, ad Angra do Heroísmo.

Comincerete a salire sulla strada asfaltata, verso la fortezza chiamata Fortaleza de São João Batista. Vicino al posto di guardia, girerete a sinistra e proseguirete per 250 metri, fino ad un bivio, dove dovrete andare a sinistra, verso la cappella detta Ermida de Santo António.

Da qui proseguirete sul sentiero di terra a sinistra. Dopo 350 metri, girerete a destra e prenderete il sentiero che sale verso il parco da pic-nic del Monte Brasil.

Il percorso ha inizio in prossimità del lago chiamato Lagoa do Negro e della Gruta do Natal.

Inizierete percorrendo il sentiero sterrato affiancato da Calluna vulgaris e criptomerie (Cryptomeria japonica). Circa 550 metri dopo, entrerete in un pascolo, farete il giro della vasca dell’acqua da sinistra e farete altri 200 metri, fino a prendere un sentiero stretto, in mezzo alla vegetazione formata da Calluna vulgaris, Cryptomeria japonica, Sphagnum sp e Juniperus brevifolia.
